Full Day Istanbul City Highlight Tour with Lunch, Istanbul Stay
Morning after breakfast, you will be picked up around 8:30 am, and brought to the Sultanahmet district, the oldest, most historic part of the city. The first stop of the day will be the Hagia Sophia, our tour guide explains the significance of this massive building that was once a Christian church, now a mosque. Afterward, we will visit Top Kapi Palace Museum, the primary residence of the Ottoman sultans for nearly 400 years. After that we will visit Blue Mosque. The Blue Mosque is renowned for its stunning blue tiles, six minarets, and intricate decorative elements. It is a standing testament to the grandeur of Ottoman architecture, making it a must-visit attraction in Istanbul. Finally, we will pass the Hippodrome of Constantinople, where we will see the site’s impressive obelisk. We should be sure to take pictures of both the interior and exterior of this impressive building. During the tour, we will make a brief stop for lunch. Next, we will continue to the Grand Bazaar, a massive, bustling complex to find clothing, decorative furnishings, food, and more. After finish your shopping return to hotel at your own. Spend the evening with leisure. Stay overnight at Istanbul.
Please Note: Topkapi Palace is closed on Tuesdays and Basilica cistern will be visited instead.
Grand Bazaar is closed on Sundays, religious and public holidays. Ladies should cover their shoulders and hair; trousers should be worn in the mosques. They can take their scarf or buy one at the etrance of Hagıa Sophıa at the additional cost of 2 USD.
